Expected Schoolwide Learning Results

1. Become Self-Directed Learners
  • To work independently without daily classroom instruction.
  • To communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • To demonstrate problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • To return to the traditional high school “on track” to graduate
  • Students will pass the CAHSEE.
  • Students will complete a graduation plan.
  • Students will establish life-long learning goals for self-improvement.
  • Students will earn a high school diploma.

2. Be Successful, Contributing Members of Society
  • To identify their unique individual skills and talents.
  • Students will participate in one or more of these programs to prepare for the world of work or college: ROP, Work Experience, Community Service, or the concurrent enrollment program at Mt. San Jacinto Junior College.
  • Students will complete a Senior Portfolio which will include a resume, interest inventory with the student’s reflections, letters of reference, and a post-secondary plan.
